Senior Sales Sales Account Executive

New York - NY, Long Island City - NY, Boston - MA, Woodbridge - NJ, Washington, D.C.
Summary:
My client is a $500mm converged voice & data communications company. They are searching for a successful Sales Account Executive to join their sales team.  This is an outside sales opportunity in which you will deliver a broad array of integrated communication solutions including voice, data, Internet and IP based solutions.  Please forward your resume to kbrady@b-stone.com as we are conducting interviews for this position.
Salary:
Base salary plus commissions
Responsibilities:
  • Sales experience in a Business to Business environment
  • Meet and exceed monthly revenue quotas
  • Maintain high activity standards (prospecting, cold calls, number of appointments per week)
  • Manage prospect funnel accurately and effectively
  • Accurately forecast and report monthly sales
  • Identify and qualify prospects by telephone, cold calls, premise visits, and networking
  • Increase market penetration in assigned territory by securing new customers, winning back former customers, and developing business within existing accounts
  • Build relationships with clients / prospects, as well as internal departments
Requirements:

Our client is recognized as the world's leading provider of enterprise risk management solutions and services that enable financial institutions and financial division of large corporations to effectively understand and manage their financial risk.

As a key member of the North American Sales team, you are responsible for developing and executing on a sales plan for an assigned territory and existing accounts. You will work with the existing sales team in introducing and becoming a subject matter expert in this risk and performance management offering.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify prospects, source new leads and qualify opportunities
  • Establishment of contact with appropriate prospect executives in qualified opportunities
  • Build professional relationships with prospects and grow existing accounts with respect to both license and consulting opportunities
  • Develop account strategy for winning and growing business, for targeted accounts
  • Work effectively with partner community to strategize and win business in targeted accounts
  • Qualify and manage response to RFI's and RFP's
  • Coordination of the effective use of resources (Professional Services and Executive staff) as part of the sales process
  • Negotiation of business terms for licensing of software or the contracting of consulting resources
  • Ensure and maintain customer satisfaction with clients by being a conduit of information and resources.
  • Work effectively with colleagues in other regions in order to maximize the opportunity for winning and closing global opportunities
Requirements

Desired Experience

  • Proven track record in consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas with a Software applications company selling into the tier one marketplace.
  • 7 to 10 years of direct sales experience in Finance or Financial Software Company
  • Knowledge of Basel 2 and compliance products\offerings
