Senior Sales Engineer with Storage Experience in Denver, Houston or Dallas

This opportunity is with a Start-up that is well financed (50 million) . It includes a robust salary, attractive early stage stock options 10 to 12,000 shares- Pre-IPO, plus an attractive bonus package.

 

Salary:

Base 120K to 150K + Bonus = OTE 170K to 200K

Job Description:
The Sales Engineer is assigned to a specific geographic area(s) and has responsibility for working with the sales team to drive revenue. The Sales Engineer’s primary role is to maximize sales in the assigned market territory through by providing pre-sales technical support to their sales team and their partners. The primary focus is aimed at sales opportunities and accounts and is achieved by collaborating with partners to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and close transactions. It is expected that this role will increase deal win rates as well as accelerate time to close on key opportunities. If you have a passion for winning and a proven track record of success in pre sales engagements for enterprise infrastructure solutions, you should send us your resume. You’ll write white papers, run demo environments, build training modules, go on site to customers and participate in developing the sales process, while working closely with a world-class management team.
Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least five years of pre-sales technical experience selling infrastructure technology
  • Deep domain expertise in storage, networking and virtualization
  • Experience working in a 100% channel centric business
  • Experience with high-transaction sales (high volume deals)
  • Significant track record of quota over-achievement
  • Storage virtualization are a plus
